Of Norway return to Connaisseur Recordings with a stellar three-track EP that follows their June ’21 mini-album ‘This Soft Apocalypse’ which is still garnering support from global heavyweights including Innervisions label boss Dixon.

The Norwegian outfit now offer up ‘Dolphins’, three tracks that encapsulate their inventive sound that borders on genre territories throughout the dance spectrum: a praise for breaks in three different shades.

Summery atmospherics and super hooky chords engulf the brooding breaks of the title track, with a nod to the past while keeping the production and intention of the track leaning into the future. ‘Urchin’ comes in with unbounded strength. Menacing reese-bass tones quiver across a metric spread of clever, splashy breakbeats and mind-altering sfx. Expect the unexpected!

Closing track ‘Shoal’ could be the next monumental set opener. A storytelling piece with mysterious middle-eastern vocals, filtered drums and an undulating synth bass hook that draws inspiration and reminiscence from some old 90’s leftfield/electronica whilst being endlessly captivating.
